Hfcs and belly fat

Hfcs and belly fat
The first thing you may wonder is what the heck “HFCS” stands for. It stands for High Fructose Corn Syrup and the words themselves don’t sound too bad. Unfortunately, it is what this HFCS has at the core that makes it a disaster for the belly fat fighter. HFCS at the core is glucose. HFCS was developed in the 1970’s as a sort of sugar substitute and over the years it has gradually taken over more items that once contained sugar. In this case, adding the sugar would have been better than HFCS. This product, hidden within many common foods, is glucose before it ever hits the body system. As a result, the body has excess glucose to process. The health problems accomplished by this excess glucose ranges from diabetes to the common fat belly. Scan the labels of some common food items in your household and you will find HFCS listed in the full name form “High Fructose Corn Syrup”. A quick survey of food items on hand during the writing of this article revealed that HFCS was the number two ingredient in many food items including ketchup. It is also in the top three of several health-food items. HFCS is increasingly being used as the dominant sweetener. When you consider what Wikipedia.org says about HFCS “there is a direct relationship between the increasing obesity in the U.S.A. and the use and consumption of HFCS for sweetening of foodstuffs and beverages,” it becomes apparent the belly will suffer from excess HFCS. Fortunately, the consumer can do two things to avoid HFCS. First, look for this item as an ingredient and avoid those foods if possible. Second, the consumer can support products returning to natural sugars. Since the dangers of HFCS to obesity have been brought to the attention of manufacturers, some of them have made significant changes. Although many of the old products containing HFCS are still on the shelves, such companies as Coca-Cola has started leaving HFCS out and so has Sobe. Others like Dr. Pepper have never had HFCS in the Dublin, Texas plant. Unfortunately, the Dr. Pepper sitting on the desk beside this writer’s computer does have HFCS in it. It must not have been made in the Dublin, Texas plant. The next time you are shopping for food or drink items, take a moment to read the ingredients. It may surprise you to find foods without HFCS and foods with it. When you find the foods without it, purchase them and consider sending the manufacturer a letter of thanks. Companies standing up against the use of HFCS need all the encouragement they can get.

Climate change world hunger

Climate change world hunger
There is no doubt about it if the earth’s climate change continues to increase in to the predicted heat it will cause world hunger. Climate change world hunger are inevitable. Food production will very likely begin to reduce du to droughts and many other types of extreme weather. When the temperature isn’t the normal degrees what ends up happening is the entire eco system will shift. Species require a specific type of environment to stay alive, and if these things are altered they will need to begin looking for a new habitat. The result of this can very well lead to many endangered species across the world. And part of our food source will begin to dwindle away. Climate change world hunger is not something that they are saying might happen, it’s going to happen if the earth continues to rise in heat as predicted. The signs of this have already begun in many parts of the world, and the increasing strength of weather, such as stronger hurricanes, are just one of many signs that this is in the future plans. You can turn on the news and see how it has all already begun to take effect. Some people claim that these changes have nothing to do with the climate change while many others are adamant that they do. While there is no actual proof that hurricanes are a direct result of the rising heat it is believed to be. It’s a very scary thought that with all of our advances in technology and everything that we know we are not going to be able to prevent climate change world hunger. This is part of our future plans, and there is absolutely nothing that we can do other than begin planning for what will happen. Just take a look at some of what reports are stating about climate change world hunger. 65% of developing countries will lose around 280 million tones of potential cereal production due to the climate change. That is about 56 billion dollars. This is only a small fraction of what will happen, and it will be a slow process to dooms day. There is a ton of reports that you can find that will predict what will happen as the climate continues to change. This is not something that will happen over night, as it has already begun to happen slowly, but it’s happening nonetheless. What can we do to prevent this from happening? Well since many people believe that the climate change is a result of our human activities the best thing to do is play your part in “Going green”. Buy products that are recycled, build houses from recycled material and leave your car home if you can catch a ride with other people.
